Prepare NGM Plates: Prepare NGM plates supplemented with FUdR with or without the addition of a specific compound concentration. Plates are seeded with 10 times concentrated OP50 after plates are solidified.

Prepare Synchronized Worms:

  • Prepare the synchronized eggs and culture at 20 °C.
  • Transfer L1 worms to the NGM plates with or without compound of specific concentration.

Score Animals for Lifespan:

  • Worms are transferred to plates with FUdR with or without compound of specific concentration when they reached L4 stages.
  • Record the date and the number of worms that are dead every other day until all worms die.
